Specifically our work for Academies has included to date the following

• Central heating boiler plant replacement including, pipework all major equipment, pipework, pumps, valves and controls, and updating the entire plant room to current standards.
• Water heating for domestic use plant replacement similar to above but for hot water provided at the taps.
• Strip out and replace central heating systems including distribution pipework, heat emitters (radiators or fan powered convectors) and improving zone and temperature controls.
• Strip out and replace entire hot and cold water systems to alleviate legionella risks and to improve efficiency and reduce water wastage.
• BMS controls specification to coordinate with all of the plant and systems installed
• Ventilation systems to classrooms incorporating heat recovery and air tempering.
• Changing room and WC ventilation systems to provide good ventilation over and above the requirements of the building regulations.
• Comfort cooling systems to Academy dance studios and fitness suites, particularly in the secondary school age group.
• Comfort cooling systems to Computer suites and other areas which have integral high internal heat gains.
• Heating and ventilation to Sports halls incorporating enhanced heating at low noise for use during examination times.
• Swimming pool ventilation and heat recovery systems, incorporating heat recovery through the pool water system and heat pump technology. Aimed at reducing condensation these systems really work.
• Legionella works to water services in emergency cases
